Innovation Days is an event organised by the Portuguese Innovation Agency, AdI (Agência de Inovação). It aims to promote the results of successful market-oriented R&D projects, boosting their economic exploitation and promoting new partnerships between companies, researchers and investors.
Innovation Days offers:
* An interactive exhibition of R&D Project Results that have reached the market, or are close to the market, with innovative products and services
* An open air demonstration of technologies
* A parallel programme of international conferences, workshops and brokerage events to promote the international valorisation of the results exhibited and new R&D projects.

http://www.innovationdays.eu/As 2008-2009 Chair of EUREKA, Portugal has decided to expand the event to attract exhibitors, public and media from Europe and beyond. This aims to meet the Portuguese EUREKA Chairmanship objective of raising the visibility of the EUREKA label and promoting the importance of trans-frontier R&D for European competitiveness.
The event includes a dedicated exhibition of successful project results from EUREKA, the European support network for industrial innovation, and the EUREKA Innovation Days Awards ceremony, attended by innovation Ministers and other high-level guests from across Europe.
TECNOFIL, an umbrella event hosted by the Portuguese Industrial Association (AIP) will take place in parallel and includes 3 other industry events specialized in electronic, industrial and environmental technologies. Access to these events will be free for visitors to Innovation Days 2009 (
